I love it how Rose argues with the Doctor for a moment over his decision to descend into the core of Krop-Tor, but she doesn’t throw a hissy fit or scream or spend hours debating with him. She knows the Doctor. She knows his personality, his needs, what makes him happy. She knows who he is, at the center of his being. She doesn’t try to change anything about him, even when those characteristics lead to decisions that scare her, because she loves every part of him. Even the bits that terrify her because they put the Doctor in danger.
She stands there on that platform, watching the love of her life descend into the dangerous unknown on an impossible planet, and she’s brave. She staunchly faces separation from the Doctor, potential loss, and her own loneliness, because she’s Rose. That’s part of what makes the Doctor adore her — her steady spirit and courage.
The one time she truly, utterly loses it is when she’s locked into a separate universe, apparently separated from the Doctor forever. She has a scream and a cry, she pounds her fist against the wall in agony and grief.
Then she gets right to business learning physics and building a dimension cannon so she can get right back to him. She doesn’t spend her time in Pete’s universe waiting around to be rescued; she immediately sets about getting back to the other universe so she can rescue the Doctor.
Rose. Mother. Fucking. Tyler.
