#As she turned and went through the door to her apartment the Doctor let out a deep sigh of pain that he’d been holding in #Not just pain from his impending regeneration but from seeing the one girl who had been the whole reason for this body #His accent - based on hers #his body - etched in the way he’d hoped she would find appealing (she always did have a thing for pretty boys) #All he could remember from the pain of his previous regeneration was hoping that this time he would be good enough for her #But now she was walking away and trailing after her was the last of his strength #He let out another gasp of pain as he started walking back to the TARDIS #Even as he stumbled he was glad he had saved this visit for last - his wonderful pink and yellow girl; she was still as pink and yellow as ever #With her vision fresh in his mind he forced himself to take one more step toward his doom (via winterinthetardis)
